I for one believe in “ keeping government in check” , that means we must criticize the government whenever we see they are doing things wrong. I voted for Obama but I know in next 4 years I will criticize his action many times.

But here is the most interesting things, the man, Obama hasn’t taken the office yet, he still have 68 days before he takes office, but look at this forum .. just see how many Anti-Obama thread started since election.

Listen to the conservative Radio – Rush L already calling “ Obama Recession” , Shonn H , Ann C you name it.

I say , keep bashing, this will help democrat. Just look at the electoral map of the country, does that say any thing to you, I hope not. Because whatever left for Republican party in the country , if you keep bashing other side of the political spectrum instate of looking into your own party and see what is wrong with your party and how to fix it, only good thing will come out of it is republican will loose more ground. So , please , please keep bashing Obama and democrat for all the bad things happening in America!

True, we have 68 days before he signs the FOCA. This will legalize the most barbaric abortion procedure ever performed. I like your name born again.

Just like the bashing of Bush for the last eight years helped Republicans?

Mmm. "Look at the electoral map" didn't work for Bush, why should it work for Obama? heh.

I would note that while there have been many negative Obama threads started here, both before and after the election, Bush bashing has it's very own sticky one-stop that's over a hundred pages long. So, frankly, not entirely sure what your point is. If your point is that people like to point out the faults and mistakes of politicians they don't like and/or disagree with and/or didn't vote for, I think the resounding "duh" would probably trigger a forum-earthquake of some sort.

The office of the President deserves respect. The man who will serve (not rule) in that office has a long way to go to earn respect because right now he is a proven, prolific liar and deceiver who espouses multiple policies contrary to the Word of God. I believe Proverbs 25:19 is very applicable here:

"Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint."

Bashing anyone that has convictions can serve to strengthen them if the bashing is untrue. If it happens to be true, in the position Mr. Obama holds, it would serve to influence matters. I guess part of the secret of his political success so far is being fully aware of what's coming down his road.

I would guess our vote gives us the right to bash, too.

I will discuss the gaffes when they happen. If that is called bashing then so be it.

Exactly. Obama hasn't yet taken office - and yet look at how you liberals are already christening him 'the greatest American President in U.S. history,' pushing for a national Obama day, and touting him as the savior of all mankind. He hasn't done anything worthy of the kind of complete devotion and adulation your people have been showering on him for almost two years.

Am I the only one who thinks Sonny Scroggins in Topeka, Kansas is a hoax?

I don't think we've been showering him with any more devotion and adulation than Ron Paul gets from his supporters, but it seems like there's been a lot of rumor-mongering and panic on the anti-Obama side over the past few days. I think the thing is that Obama ran a grass-roots campaign (like Ron Paul), and ultimately, you guys are now angry that you couldn't do the same thing, so you assume that grass-roots campaigning means making a candidate the messiah or something.

ROFL..............He's already had a "approval rating" poll done on him.
what's with that?.........................LOL.

And that "Office of the President-Elect" sign he stands behind.
what's with that?.........................LOL.

Okay, I keep forgetting his messiah complex.

I look at as -
Every minute spent here by a right-winger deconstructing Obama is a minute they're not spending reconstructing their own party.
I hope to see hundreds of threads with pages upon pages of comments for the next 4 years.

Guess everyone missed the meeting of the Republican Governors.
Exactly what they were discussing. Getting their act back together.

Obama ran a grass-roots campaign

umm....

umm....

umm....

When???

Oh, does that explain why he didn't abide by the campaign reform stuff, and raised eversomuch more money than his opponent, and did so even when his website was accepting donations from people who didn't even exist???

Is that the new definition of 'grassroots campaign'?

Which simply means that Obama's cult is bigger than Paul's.

And, no, all you new perspective people, I'm not talking about the apostle.

Yes, grassroots meaning those who are underneath the roots of the grass in their graves. Akin to the same way they vote in Chicago.

I got news for you, if Obama doesn't come up with an economic plan that doesn't scare the market as much as his election has, he will be lucky to make it four years, and that is without a faithful opposition.

I was surprised by the wide margin which Obama won the election. I had thought the outcome would be very close, even contested in some areas.

Isn't bashing the big wigs an American tradition?
