www.wordplayer.com/ this link won't open for me. Last time I tried it the same thing happened but someone from here helped me with a link. I thought I saved it in my bookmarks but it has disappeared. Can someone help me with it please. It's really hard to open from Australia.

Link http://www.wordplayer.com/ works fine for me. If you can't just click and go, the site might have been down for maintenance or there could have been issues with your internet connection. Finally, your country could somehow cause difficulties. Not sure how though...

The guy who put me onto it said he was having difficulties with it and he said he had to get through to it through America. I had the link for it on my internet explorer and I am using firefox atm. I went back to check it out but it doesn't open now.

Alrighty, a little advanced internet tip for you here --> websites see where you are from by your IP (internet provider), which tells the site your location, IP address, and other fun stuff. Does this mean you have to tell it where you're from? No. There are programs floating around, (just Google it!), that allow you to randomize or select your proxy. I'm not going to write a detailed "how to" here or anything, but do some research on proxies and IP randomizers. There's plenty out there, if only you know what to look for. In case you were wondering, everything above is perfectly legal, although if you are accessing the internet via a school, library, or work computer, the use of proxies may violate their terms of service. Use at your own risk.

I am at home and I don't break the law. The link was given to me by someone in the industry and he told me he was having trouble with the link from here. Do you think they block it because we are Aussies?

Let me repeat, NONE of the above is against the law. Period. It is possible that you are restricted based on your country of origin, yes. Some sites, like Pandora Radio, block all non-American users due to licensing issues.

One last go on this one. This site also enables you to access USA-only sites, as the virtual server that you connect from is in fact in the USA. This is a great option if you are using your own computer. cheers, Locke

I thought I saved it in my bookmarks but it has disappeared. Can someone help me with it please. It's really hard to open from Australia. I really hope you were able to get in, Giulia. Wordplayer is an amazing site. I actually printed off all of the articles a couple years ago just to keep them handy. Another site you might want to try is Artful Writer. It's a blog by Craig Mazin, but he had forums for readers to ask questions of other working Hollywood writers. Ted Elliot, Terry Rosio's writing partner and some time poster on Wordplayer, stops by fairly often to leave comments. He also did one of the ask the pros segments where he talks more about Pirates of the Caribbean.
