This Thread made me wonder whether or not the creative process can bring one closer to God. What do you think? Yes or No?

I believe it can. While painting or drawing I tend to enter a trancelike state... much like prayer.

Are there any other painters, singers, dancers, writers, musicians, or other creative types out there who feel this as well?
