So, school is almost out for summer, and you know what that means...No, I don't mean swimsuit shopping, I mean

Harry Potter VII....part 1. So who is going on opening night (me), and what have you heard about it (like one of the sets catching on fire and putting producution behind schedule).

I wasn't sure if it was okay to post HP, but I figure is Freddy and demons are okay, a bunch of fake wizards are okay too.

Expecto Patronem!

I know that I'll be there drooling over Tom Felton.

I don't watch too much to do with the movies because I like being surprised when the movie comes out.

Other than that... Rictusempra!!!!!

*giggle*

I thought the release date was in November? Is it coming this summer? I would so love for that to be the case.

Everywhere I've seen says November 19th. I was hoping maybe you had some inside info that the date had been bumped up for summer. Drat.

It's HORRIBLY fattening, but let me see if I remember it.

1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup regular milk
1/2 cup butterscotch or caramel ice cream topping
2 tablespoons butter
Vanilla cream soda

Mix all but the cream soda and warm. When everything is melted and mixed well together, separate into glasses. The more glasses you use, the thinner the drink will be. We usually use one batch for two 16 oz. glasses. Slowly add cream soda (because it will foam over if you pour too quickly), mixing thoroughly and then warm until desired temperature.

Drink and enjoy!

It actually calls for 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk but it was waaaaay too sweet for us so we halfed it with regular milk. You can tweak it as desired.

I do a chilled recipe that's not so fattening, and can be changed for different sweetness:

Make 'simple syrup'. Cool and add rum extract generously.

Over ice in a glass -- add some syrup, some milk (or cream), and either cream soda or sparkling water.

Top with whip cream if desired.

Looks like this movie is going to be awesome! I have read every one of the books and have seen every one of the movies up until DEATHLY HALLOWS. Can't wait for part 1 to hit in November and part 2 in July of next year.

Yay, can't wait! :)
IMO, none of the movies have been as awesome as 1, 2, & 3 (partially because John Williams' original score was amazing)....but I am hoping with this last two-part installment the magic will be back.
The trailer looked fun, at least!

Wrote a bit about Airbender in another thread, wolf. It wasn't awful, but not great, either.
