If you could pick a book you’ve read to make into a movie, which one would you choose?

Belle Prater's Boy.

It's set in the 50s. It's about a mountain boy whose mother disappears. He moves to town to live with his grandparents. It has some wonderful characters.

Any of James Patterson's Alex Cross books. I know there are two done with Morgan Freeman as Alex Cross, but even when they were made 10 or so years ago he was too old for the role. Patterson describes Cross as resembling Muhammad Ali. Can you say Will Smith? I knew yew could.

Another good choice.

Would love to see Mel Brooks do one of the Discworld books.
