I've been to a couple of other places, outside of personally for you, but I'm really confused about what threads I've read now, and what I haven't. I can't remember what I've subbed to and what I haven't. I miss active topics. I keep going back to threads thinking that I haven't read all the contents, only to find I have. <SIGH>.

If it's in bold on the listing then there are new posts, if it's not bold there isn't anything new. And if you click on the tiny little green arrow directly to the left of the thread title it will take you back to where you left off. I know some people don't have the little green arrows, though.

I find that the vast majority of things are still in bold, including things I've already read.

there is a subscribe button at the top of the thread to the right of the screen. But, I haven't figured out just how to use it once I susbscribe.
