Emotionally anyway, my favorite song was "To Sir With Love." I had tears. From a storyline perspective I liked "Jesse's Girl." I'm drawing a blank, but Kurt has a couple of really good ones.

There are plenty of adoptees who will tell you that they hoped and dreamed for that mother/child bond the moment they meet and find that its just not there. For some, the bond is a journey as they get to know one another, and for others, it never happens. As someone whose adopted, I think its great that they are telling her story this way.

Ryan Murphy sure knows how to create some characters. And brilliant episodes. Although...someone in the main cast is supposed to leave next season? No!

Barb, there's a difference between not clicking and not trying. It seems that after all that 'lying' (getting Jesse involved and planting the tape) suddenly when Rachel is approaching her as a friend and a mentor she's not interested...because she can't have the baby memories. It's cruel. In the very least they could have a friendship...since Rachel wants it and she instigated it.

That was my thought. Even if it weren't like a mother - daughter relationship, they could have tried being friends. Sad.

Auben, I agree they could be friends . Maybe the writers will change that in the fall. Dd and I have been watching the reruns. I read some where that they're bringing in a Christian character ?

A "Christian" character who's as bigoted as they come. They SAY they're trying to draw more conservative viewers. Um, not if they're going to stereotype us.

I found this website where you can listen to Glee music. They do mix it up with the original artist but then you get to listen to some of the actor's broadway musical like Wicked with Idina and Kristin, Leah's Spring Awakening and more. Here's the link http://gleekast.com/

Since last posting in this thread, I finally saw my first episode of Glee. I wasn't impressed and haven't watched since. However. I did suggest that Kristin Chenoweth should get her own show, so imagine my surprise when reading this: quote:
'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy confirmed at the TCA panel for his hit series that he's working on a new musical series for Emmy-winner Kristin Chenoweth. Put away those outraged faces, 'Glee' is not getting a spin-off -- yet. According to Zap2It, the new TV project will be separate from the Fox series and more adult, Murphy said. "I've always wanted to do something for Kristin, and Kristin is a good, close friend of mine obviously, so I'm writing a half-hour musical comedy specifically for Kristin because if you can sing like that, I want her to be the star of her own show where she sings," Murphy told TV critics. "I can't say too much about it yet. Kristin is so funny. I want it to be adult." Murphy said he is looking forward to doing something along the lines of 'Nip/Tuck,' something "dark and procedural." http://www.tvsquad.com/2010/08/03/glee-creator-confirms-new-musical-series-with-kristin-chenowet/ It sounds interesting. A musical TV show that is also a "dark procedural"? Hopefully it won't turn out to be the next Cop Rock. Personally, I'd rather they just bring "Pushing Daisies" back.
