tiny dogs have a way of working their way into your life somehow! i live around illinois too, and it seriously needs to get warmer. no where should be less then like, 50 degrees year round

I live in Florida, have all my life (was even born here....native!)
I did live for about 5 months in Texas (loved it!)
I love water, so being landlocked hurt.
I'm 23, I'll be 24 next month!
I love volleyball, classic rock, bananas and whipped cream. Together.

Hey everyone.
First and foremost, I accepted Christ when I was 14, but started living like a Christian when I was 16.
My name is Lauren.
I am 18 yrs old.
I was born in Indiana, moved to Maine when I was less than a year old. Now I live in Kentucky.
I am a college student. I go through the University of Phoenix online program.
My major is Elementary Education.
My goal is to get my degree, move to Kenya and start teaching there.
I went to Kenya last summer with my church and I'm saving to go back hopefully this winter or some time soon.
I am a certified babysitter :)
Currently I am single. Still waiting for God to put that special man in my life. I'm young so I can wait :)

Hi,
My name is Abigail, Usually called Abi or Abs.
I live in the Isle of Mann
I go to University in England and study Illustration and hope to progress to my teaching qualification or an art therapy/social work qualification.
I'm turning 21 in 2 months.
I have just managed to get out of a very bad relationship with a very bad person, and I thank God for saving me from it. I'm confident that I will find the right person for me, hopefully sooner rather than later :)
I strive to be a good person, and be better.
I'm planning to travel the world and America after my final year, going where feels right, making new friends and experiences, and to find a place for me where I can hopefully contribute good and help toward a better world even if in the smallest of ways.
I have lots of interests an "likes", good food, long walks, Dogs, Horses, The countryside, Art/photography and film, other cultures, learning, psychology, just a few.

a student nurse
im far away from my home town just to study.
we have 20 dogs and 3 cats
our house is like a zoo,
whenever i return home.
(dogs chasing cats,dogs barking at the neighborhood)
you have to bathe them a lot of times because
they love to play in the mud.
my family love to take care of pets...

Hi everyone.
I'm 21 & just joined the site....must confess I am no good with computers & thought this was a UK chat room but you all seem to be from the states (which is awesome, by the way, I love America)
Anyway, mainly I've joined during a time of major soul searching - I live on my own in a flat in the small town that I was bought up in.
I do love my job (I'm a support worker) but I feel completely stuck here at the moment & I have no idea what/where to go next because I do have unhappy memories in my home town.
I also miss the important presence God used to have in my life...as always he has been pushed to the background & I struggle sometimes to fully believe his existence, let alone listen to & act on his will for my life.
Right, I feel better to have got all that out :)
Hopefully someone here has felt the same?

Welcome to the forums xbeex. You will find many from the US here like myself, and also some from all over the world. :)
I do understand, and have put the Lord on the back burner myself in the past and He had to bring me to a hard place to get my attention, so I do know what you mean.
